The Integra Networks Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) is an input/output transceiver used to transform signals between an Ethernet network and fiber optic network. It is suitable for interconnections in Gigabit Ethernet hubs and switches environment, point-to-point communication requiring gigabit and fiber channel interconnections. The Integra Networks GBIC can support bi-directional data with a transmitting rate of up to 1.25Gbps and cover a working distance from 300m to 80km.
